Improve the performance and resource efficiency of APIs operating at more than 10 million requests per month.

Production workload above 10 million requests per month
Average API latency of approximately 5-6 seconds
Service memory consumption of approximately 500 MB

How I approached it

Contributed to production API and service performance work while independently owning features. Employer-specific implementation details are not public.

My contribution

Senior, frontend-heavy full-stack engineering with independent feature ownership and performance optimisation work.

Outcomes

Average API latency reduced to under 2 seconds.
Service memory consumption reduced to approximately 200 MB.

What I learned

Operational evidence makes production performance claims inspectable without overstating private implementation details.
