Senior full-stack product and platform engineeringOpen to senior engineering roles

Justine Kizhakkinedath

I take web products from interface to infrastructure.

I ship customer-facing features, improve API performance and resource use, and modernise the cloud and release systems beneath them. Working across layers means fewer hand-offs and clear ownership through production.

Where I add value

End-to-end ownership where product and platform meet.

I am most useful to founders and engineering teams that need one senior engineer to carry a problem across layers, make the trade-offs clear and stay accountable for the production result.

Ship product

Carry a feature from product decision to production.

Build customer-facing interfaces alongside the APIs, data and deployment work they need.

Interfaces · APIs · data · integrations

Stabilise systems

Fix the bottlenecks slowing the product or the team.

Trace latency and resource use, improve reliability and leave production behaviour easier to understand.

Latency · memory · reliability · observability

Modernise platforms

Move services without putting delivery at risk.

Plan cloud and runtime transitions around operating constraints, release safety and business cost.

Cloud migrations · containers · delivery systems

01Production work

Scaling a high-volume communications platform

Improve the performance and resource efficiency of APIs operating at more than 10 million requests per month.

Scope
Production API and service performance work at more than 10 million requests per month.
My ownership
Senior, frontend-heavy full-stack engineering with independent feature ownership and performance optimisation work.
02Production work

Secure email viewer and reply system

Third-party email content needed to remain useful and interactive without leaking malicious code, styles or scripts into the host CRM.

Scope
A Gmail-like email preview and reply experience embedded securely inside a CRM.
My ownership
Owned frontend delivery and contributed across the supporting Node.js and NestJS services.

Measured impact

  • Resolved critical XSS and CSS-leak risks; the October 2024 résumé reports a security-risk reduction above 90%.
  • Reduced support tickets related to email navigation by 50%.

03Production work

Migrating services to Kubernetes infrastructure

Move production services from App Engine to a containerised Kubernetes architecture.

Scope
A service migration from App Engine to NestJS, Docker and Kubernetes.
My ownership
Contributed to the migration; the resulting cost reduction is attributed to the broader migration rather than solely to one engineer.
