Onboarding v5 needed compliant KYC and pricing modules that could ship into a live fintech onboarding flow without introducing critical regressions, and any post-release issues needed to be caught before they reached customers.

How I approached it

Architected and built the KYC and pricing modules, and contributed major state-management and configuration work across the wider Onboarding v5 programme. After rollout, proactively audited 147,000 production logs to catch validation errors before they became customer-facing.

My contribution

Architected core modules and led post-release verification for a compliance-critical fintech onboarding workflow.

Outcomes

• Shipped with zero critical post-release issues; monthly onboarding volume reached a yearly high of 126, approximately 38% above the prior nine-month average of 91.
• Audited 147,000 production logs and identified more than 72,000 silent validation errors before they escalated into a customer-facing incident.

What I learned

• Post-release auditing is as much a part of ownership as the initial build.
